Lili Bita directs Robert Zaller's The Shrink and the world premiere of his Who Killed Jimmy Hoffa? for the Philly Fringe,
September 8 and 9 at The Rotunda, 4014 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, and September 15 and 16 at the Third Street Gallery,
58 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia. All performances start at 8:00 p.m. The Shrink, a sex comedy set in a psychiatrist's office,
features Gene D'Alessandro, Laurence Beck, and Jennnifer Williamsom. Who Killed Jimmy Hoffa? features Gene D'Alessandro.
This production, under the auspices of The Theater Cooperative, marks the ninth consecutive year of collaboration between
Lili Bita and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Past productions include Medea, Lysistrata 2004, and Priestess of Eros.
Lili Bita will also read from her own poetry at the Bryn Mawr Barnes and Noble at 7:00 p.m. Robert Zaller will read from his
new book of poems, Islands, at the Cornelia Street Cafe in New York, 29 Cornelia Street, on October 20 at 6:00 p.m. |
